For New Years Eve 2014, my friends hosted a Wild West-themed murder mystery party. My character was Taffy Garrett, a saloon girl. It was a great excuse to make a costume from one of my favorite time periods, fashion-wise: the Edwardian period at the turn of the 20th century.

I used a pattern for a 1903 corset and skirt, and improvised the bodice. I’ve since worn it sans bodice and like that look as well!
